Recycled Percussion was formed by Justin Spencer in 1994 in New Hampshire at a high school talent show, and their first performance gave birth to the style of music now known as JUNK ROCK . The small-town New Hampshire band would continue to build their show into one of the most powerful live performances in all of entertainment.
Recycled Percussion starting to tour the world in 2001, has averaged over 250 shows a year, and has won many awards including the prestigious 6 time national entertainer of the year award. The band has now grown into a national sensation and has become famous for its unique show and unmatched creative designs.
The group has been seen on the cover of USA TODAY among others and has performed on the TODAY show, Carson Daly, Talk Soup, Crook and Chase, and many more. Recycled Percussion then hit an all time high with its recent 3rd place finish on the hit television show Americas Got Talent on NBC. The group placed 3rd out of over 100,000 acts and became the first non singing act to place in the top 3 in show history, setting the bar for America's Got Talent's future.
Recycled Percussion, led by Spencer, the world's fastest extreme drummer, has now taken its power percussion show and unique style to the MGM Grand and have designed a show that will become the most interactive show in Las Vegas. What makes the show so unique is that anyone who attends a Recycled Percussion experience becomes a part of the show, as they are handed a recycled instrument upon entry that is used throughout the show's duration. The band, backed by multimedia, is always interacting with the audience. Recycled Percussion is pushing the limits with this new revolutionary concept and will once again set the bar for how shows are performed in Las Vegas.
